Fire Rated Gasket Tape is a prefabricated Intumescent strip with a flat part made of synthetic rubbers and carefully selected fire resistant components. It has good surface tack and recovery and deforms under mild pressure.

Gasket made of rubber when ductwork is prone to movement, tape attaches promptly to the mating flanges without slippage or movement, yet it will yield without breaking its seal (ie during erection and leakage testing procedures).

When exposed to flame, the tape intumesces (expands and chars), preventing fire and smoke from passing through. It's recommended that you have at least 30 minutes of fire protection.
