Blazewall ducts are tested to BS 476 Part 24:1987— ISO 6944:1985 / EN 1366-1: 2016; standards for Type A/Type B ducts for integrity, stability, and insulation resistance criteria by Proficient Air Coditioning Industries LLC. The system is classified according to EN 13501-3. It also meets BS 5588 Part 9 Method 3 and BS 9999 (2008) Fire Protection of Ventilation Ductwork criteria. Blazewall products have been approved by the DCD (Department of Civil Defense) and meet all relevant standards.
Blazewall is made on a fully automated duct manufacturing line at Proficient Air Coditioning Industries LLC. The ducts are made from galvanized steel sheets with integral flanges for transverse connections and sufficient intermediate stiffeners to achieve the fire rating of two hours for stability and integrity. It's also available in a wholly welded design made of mild steel or stainless steel sheets.
